Spring update from Nabeel!

Hello dear friends,

Quick update from me. I'm in the final stages of writing my book, and I'll be sending it to the publisher, Lord willing, by the end of this month. The release date is currently set for January 2014!

In other news, I have turned down all PhD acceptances to join Ravi Zacharias International Ministries. I will come on board as one of the Itinerant Speakers in the North America team. Lord willing, I will continue the PhD studies in a few years, after being mentored for a while by Ravi, Stuart McAllister, and other senior members. (www.RZIM.org)

My lovely wife Michelle will be leaving the Coast Guard, and the two of us will be moving to Atlanta in the summer. Before then, I'll be speaking at all eight sessions of Summit Ministries in Manitou Springs. If you love any high school or college students, send them for a two week camp! I'd love to meet them there! (www.summit.org)

Finally, it looks like there's many international trips on the horizon for me. So if you're in Hong Kong, Singapore, India, or Indonesia, I'll be coming your way later this year!

Thanks so much for your encouragement and support as we make these tremendous transitions! I'll keep you posted as things move forward :-)

  1. It's nice to know you're not dead--and that your work for the Lord has continued :)

By the way, you said a while ago you were going to post your dissertation (or something along those lines). When will that be?

  2. What great news Nabeel! You and RZIM? A perfect match! Not only will you grow and learn from some of the best apologists ever, but you will make them better! May the Lord bless your ministry for many years to come!

  4. Brother Nabeel

Just been listening to Ravi Zacharias's youtube clip on Islam (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BzV-jPjCjXw) at 3:29 he talks about the "There is no compulsion in religion" verse from the Holy Quran - and then concludes that Mullas play with words and that THERE IS COMPULSION in Islam. Any fair minded and rational person would have said that Mullas are telling lies and that in Quran - it is quite clear that there is no compulsion in religion. But these dishonest Christians just want to present distorted picture of Islam.....no wonder they are the Zaleen. Pls could you have a word with Ravi and tell him to stop misleading people. Jazakumullah brother.

  6. Dear Nabeel,

Great to hear that you may be coming to India. I am a part of one of the foremost apologetics networks in India - Sakshi Apologetics. You can view our website on www.sakshitimes.net. Please do write back to me on Ephesians4.14@gmail.com and we will do our best to help you when you are here in India.

@Yahya: I was wondering about your comment for Nabeel and Proverbs 26:11 crossed my mind. By the way, I saw an interesting parallel a few days back... very educational: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hswWaN1pRvY... hope you like it.
